Oil Casing Application

The oil casing is a steel pipe used to keep the oil and gas well walls to ensure the normal operation of the well during the drilling process and after completion. Any well should use several layers of casing depending on the depth of the drilling and the geological conditions. After thecasing is down, the cement should be cemented. It is different from the oil pipe and the drill pipe. It can be used repeatedly. It is a one-time raw material.

The oil special pipe is mainly used for drilling oil and gas wells and oil and gas transportation. It contains oil drill pipes, oil casings, and oil pipes. Oil drill pipes are used to connect drill collars and drill bits and relay drilling power. The oil casing is mainly used to maintain the well wall during and after completion of the well to ensure the drilling process and the normal operation of the well after completion. The pumping pipe focuses on transporting the oil and gas at the bottom of the well to the ground. The oil casing is the lifeline for keeping the oil well running. Due to the difference in geological conditions, the shape of the downhole is complex, and the combined action of tension, compression, bending and torsion stress acts on the pipe body, which puts high demands on the quality of the casing itself. Once the casing itself is damaged due to some reason, the whole well may be reduced or even scrapped.

According to the strength of the steel itself, the casing can be pided into different steel grades, namely J55, K55, N80, L80, C90, T95, P110, Q125, V150 and so on. The difference in well conditions and well depths is also different. In the erosive environment, the casing itself is also required to have an anti-erosion function. In places with complex geological conditions, the casing is also required to have an anti-squeezing function.

The above is the use of oil casings, I hope to help you.
